Mission Statement

The Mission of Sky High Volleyball is to provide a learning yet competitive environment. The athletic experience will enhance the social development, contribute to mental and physical health, and teach the values of teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline and self-motivation to each athlete. It is the goal of Sky High to teach a love of the sport of volleyball, to develop all players so they are fundamentally sound, and have the ability to compete against the top programs locally, regionally and nationally.

Making a Difference in the Lives of Athletes

Established in the fall of 1989 through the leadership of Scott and Sherry Harris, Sky High, an Illinois not-for-profit 501c3 Corporation continues to offer the best in volleyball instruction with a positive social experience for junior athletes in the Northwest/Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin areas. Sky High’s coaching staff is unified in teaching the skills and tactics, including the more advanced techniques of the game. 

 Sky High provide a wide variety of opportunities for training, competition, leagues and skill lessons year round. Sky High offers various programs for athletes that want to compete Nationally against some of top clubs in the country, to those who want to compete more locally in our Regional program. At Sky High, we strive for our athletes to become the best volleyball player possible both on and off the court. Each season, our goal is to finish among the top teams within the Great Lake Regional but also Nationally.

Sky High Volleyball’s goal is to promote athletic/academic excellence through a strong foundation of health and exercise provided by excellent training and competition. Sky High Volleyball continues to secure athletic scholarships to top collegiate institutions to more than 97% of our senior athletes. To date approximately $45 million in scholarship money has been awarded to Sky High Athletes.
